OUR
SERVICES
WELLNESS EXAMS
​
General examination is done as a routine check up to make sure that your pet is well and fit.
It is also the first step to understand what's happening to your pet when they are ill.
PARASITE CONTROL & PREVENTION
At our reception one can find a wide variety of anti-parasitic treatment for most animals.
These are available as spot-on, sprays and tablet form.
VACCINATIONS and MICROCHIPPING
We offer a wide variety of vaccinations, starting from core vaccines for cats, dogs and rabbit, vaccinations against Leishmania, Rabies and Kennel Cough.
Microchipping is by law in dogs over 4 months of age, this can be done at our clinic. We also microchip and register cats with the local database.
SURGERY
We offer a wide variety of surgery, both routine and specialised surgeries - soft tissue surgery and dentals.
Our surgery room is well equipped with gaseous anaesthesia and anaesthetic monitors.
HOUSE CALLS
We do offer a house call service upon request. One has to contact the clinic through our facebook page or call on 21800806 or 79052015 to book an appointment.
DIAGNOSTICS
Our clinic has a well equipped laboratory and so we can offer both general blood tests such as biochemistry and complete blood counts and elective blood tests which can be done both in-house and abroad.
We are also equipped with an ultrasound and x-ray machine, these images will help in diagnosing certain illness / diseases.
ROUTINE PROCEDURES
Routine procedures such as nail trims, anal gland expression, ear cleaning etc can be done by appointment with one of our stuff members.
We also offer both Local and International Health Certificates such as European Pet Passports and Travelling Documentation.
NUTRITION
We offer a wide variety of prescribed diets suitable for your pets needs.
Our team is also knowledgeable to help you choose the right diet for your pet!
ABOUT
OUR CLINIC
Pets and Vets Veterinary Clinic opened its doors in November 2014 and since has been offering professional medical and surgical care to every patient, every time. Our clinic is fully equipped with an x-ray machine, ultrasound and a lab. We have a hospitalisation area where we treat our sick and injured patients. The clinic also has a well equipped surgery in order to offer the safest and best treatment for our patients.
Our staff members are hard working professionals who have at heart the well-being of your pets. We are committed to offer ethical and up-to-date care for our patients, that is why we always support and invest in the skills of our staff.

At Pets and Vets we have at heart the stray animals, and that is why we try to give back to the community by helping out in neutering campaigns and working alongside sanctuaries. We have also started working with Nature Trust in order to treat injured wildlife and help to start the road to rehabilitation.
​
Our aim apart from treating animals is also to work hand in hand with our clients, who are the main caregivers. Our staff is always willing to help out with any questions, educate and inform our clients with how to provide the best care your pet needs.

Dr. Victoria Bondin

Clinical Director and Head Veterinarian

Qualified from Alma Mater Studiorum Universita' di Bologna in 2009 and founded Pets and Vets in November 2014. Victoria has extensive knowledge in surgery, veterinary dentistry, opthalmology and emergency medicine.
​
She has a special interest in wildlife and exotic pets, has worked with zoo medicine, and has experience as a volunteer with TNR and rabies vaccination campaign in India and Thailand.
​
She performs surgeries and runs regular clinic consultations for pets and regularly cares for the wildlife patiens in our clinic.
​

Dr. Sara Maran

Qualified from Universita' degli Studi di Milano in 2005 and joined Pets and Vets in 2023. Sara has experience in Anesthesiology and is finishing her postgraduated Certificate in Cardiology.
​
She has a special interest in Cardiology and Ultrasound and runs regular clinic consultations for pets in our clinic, with considerable experience in care of emergency patients.

Qualified in Animal Management from MCAST in Malta and joined Pets and Vets in 2015. Matthew has more than 10 years of experience taking care of patients and he used to teach basics of veterinary nursing at MCAST.
